As a Philadelphia Family Photographer, I capture authentic and joyful connections between families.
With a Master’s in Education and over ten years of elementary teaching experience, I’ve been called everything from a “toddler whisperer” to “pied piper of children”, and have the ability to create joyful, authentic, and playful images of the love-soaked chaos that is parenthood. My style is timeless, playful, and light-filled.
Family sessions can take place in my beautiful, natural light studio, at a location local to Philadelphia, at your home, or on select dates at the New Jersey shore.

I take great pride in offering a seamless client experience which includes carefully planned & curated sessions for every family.
My Philadelphia family photography sessions include a phone consultation to discuss your vision and ideas for the session, and access to the Client Closet with personalized styling for your family.
All families receive a detailed family session prep guide ahead of their session, along with coordination of wardrobe and hair & makeup services to clients to ensure that you feel your best for your session.
On the day of the session, we’ll meet at my studio or on-location around Philly and take some beautiful portraits!
I provide detailed direction and posing during sessions to ensure that my clients feel beautiful, comfortable, and most of all – themselves! – during their session.
Once your gallery is complete, you’ll be able to choose your images and artwork, and I’ll be there every step of the way to help you decide on the perfect portraits for your home.

Are you experienced with toddlers? I don’t know if my kids will participate!
YES! I’ve been photographing young families for over 7 years, and taught elementary school for 10 years prior to that. I’m in the weird camp where I actually love toddlers - they’re goofy and always down to play and unabashedly themselves.
What areas of Philadelphia do you serve?
My families come from all over Philly including South Philadelphia, East Passyunk, Graduate Hospital, Fishtown, Northern Liberties, Center City, Washington Square, Rittenhouse, Bella Vista, Society Hill, Old City, Queen Village and more.
Do you offer hair & makeup services?
Yes! All clients have access to hair & makeup services to feel their best for their sessions.
Can I reserve a shortened “mini-session” instead of a full family session?
In short, no; while it can seem that young children would benefit from a shorter session, I have found from years of experience as a Philadelphia Family Photographer that it’s actually the opposite. Children need time to warm up to the camera – as well as a new person and location – to ensure the level of comfort that lets their real smiles shine through. The candid, playful portraits that my clients have come to love need time; time to play with your children, time to explore, time to snuggle up on a blanket together, twirling their hair in your fingers. “Mini-sessions” don’t allow for these photos, which end up being my client’s favorites.
How far in advance should I reserve my family’s portrait session?
A limited amount of outdoor family sessions are available each year to ensure an exceptional experience for my families. Most families reserve their session 6 months in advance.
