Pregnancy is truly the longest shortest time; nine months – 40 weeks – creating human life, which feels neverending.
Yet, once your baby is born, pregnancy feels like eons ago.
Philadelphia maternity photography sessions are the perfect way to celebrate your growing family, as well as to mark the milestone before your family is forever changed by your new little one.
When the pregnancy pillow is packed away, the cravings subsided, and the maternity jeans passed along to a friend, all that remains are portraits of your bump and how you carried your baby. I want nothing more than for you to look back at these portraits and celebrate your changing body and the life it created.

Planning your Maternity Session
Maternity sessions are scheduled between 28-32 weeks. We’ll start your maternity session planning with a consultation about the vision for your images; from intimate studio sessions to the whole family at a garden, we’ll find the perfect location for your portraits.
Once we’ve worked to find the overall feel for your session, the fun part begins! You’ll have the option to schedule a wardrobe appointment at my studio to browse through the Client Closet to find the perfect outfit.
From wardrobe planning to posing (if you need me to tell you what to do with your hands or where to look, I’m on it!), I’m there every step of the way to help you feel comfortable and beautiful in your changing body.

What to Expect
I take great pride in offering a seamless client experience which includes carefully planned & curated sessions for every family.
All Philadelphia maternity photography sessions include a phone consultation to discuss your vision and ideas for the session, and access to the Client Closet with personalized styling for your family. Hair and makeup services are offered to clients to ensure that you feel your best for your session.
Maternity sessions take place at my light-filled 1400 sf studio in Paoli, Pennsylvania or at an outdoor location in the Philadelphia area. With years of experience photographing maternity sessions, I can suggest a wide variety of location options based on your personal preferences – from the beach to the studio to a garden.
On the day of the session, we’ll meet at my studio or on-location around Philly and take some beautiful portraits!
I provide detailed direction and posing during sessions to ensure that my clients feel beautiful, comfortable, and most of all – themselves! – during their session.
Once your gallery is complete, you’ll be able to choose your images and artwork, and I’ll be there every step of the way to help you decide on the perfect portraits for your home.

The First Year Collective
You’ve heard it before - babies don’t keep.
The first year of your baby’s life goes incredibly quickly; one day they’re just learning to roll over, and suddenly they’re taking their first steps. The First Year Collective allows families to document baby’s milestones throughout the first year, from sitting to walking.
First Year Collective members are able to reserve 3 or 4 sessions throughout their baby’s first year to celebrate all of the milestones as they grow. While sessions can be customized, most families choose maternity, newborn, 6 month, and 12 month sessions.
Along with priority scheduling, artwork credit, and complimentary birth announcements, families complete their Collective Membership with a beautiful album celebrating their baby’s first year!
