And in those twelve months, you’ll see them change from a tiny newborn to a walking, talking child - and wonder where the last year went. Milestone sessions preserve that first year, from rolling over to sitting to crawling to walking, and allowing you to get in front of the camera with your baby, too!

When should I reserve each portrait session as part of the First Year Collective?
This really depends on what types of portraits are important to you! I’m happy to walk you through the different types of sessions, along with the best ages for each milestone session. However, most families who are interested in a maternity session as part of the First Year Collective reserve their maternity session early in their second trimester.
Can my family join in the First Year Collective portraits?
Always! Immediate family is always welcome to join in the portraits.
Do I have access to the Client Closet for each of the First Year Collective sessions?
Yes yes yes! Not only are there tons of dresses to choose from, but there are also hundreds of options for children. No need to worry about what your little one will wear.
Can a cake smash be included in the 12 month milestone session?
Of course! Some families choose to add a cake smash as part of their session, while others don’t. Really up to the kind of portraits that you value! The sessions are completely customized to each family.
Do you offer hair & makeup services?
Yes! All clients have access to hair & makeup services to feel their best for their sessions.
