As challenging as newborn sessions can be – think about all the soothing, rocking, bouncing, calming that goes into it! – they are some of my favorite sessions to photograph. I love capturing babies at their tiniest; they grow so quickly and it’s hard to remember them in their first few days. I love watching how siblings interact with their new brother or sister, whether they’re completely enamored or a bit hesitant (don’t worry – I’ve got all the tricks for getting that perfect sibling shot!).
As a main line newborn photographer, I’ve seen all different sorts of family dynamics and types of babies, and each is so special. We chose to do this session in my main line natural light photography studio, right by Paoli Hospital. While I’m happy to travel to client homes, many families chose to come to my studio due to the beautiful light and not needing to prep their home for their session (as a mother of two toddlers, I completely understand this!).
