Elizabeth first reached out to me about a portrait session for her boys two years ago, so to say this session was years in the making is zero exaggeration!

One of my favorite things about photographing maternity sessions is knowing that in the next couple of months, I’ll be able to see the fruits of the (pun intended) labor.

Sweet little Ella has a special place in my heart; I photographed her newborn session after her little heart went through a series of surgeries, and I fell in love with her kind, joyful, warm family. You know those families that exude love? That’s Ella’s family.

Would you believe me if I told you that the day of Rachel’s session was freezing? Like, literally? It’s hard to tell from the sun and grasses but between shots, we were bundled in coats. Worth it, if you ask me!

Bekah and I have a connection that predates client and photographer – years (and years and years…and years) ago, I went to school with her sister. Corinne’s newborn session was held in my studio space, and we got lucky with some very soft, even light – check out those gorgeous skin tones!
